HA! Just got a speeding ticket recently…and those very words were on the tip of my tongue. He did happen to be kind enough to drop the fine a bit. Still cost me 300US and traffic school though…ugh!

We don’t have traffic school here but I think it might be a good idea for some of the people I’ve seen approaching roundabouts with the fixed look of I’m just going straight on through – everyone out of my way.
I mean you have to pass test’s etc to get your license but I’ve not heard of traffic school as part of a fine and I would have considering some of the speeding tickets from my youth.
I tried to blame my mum once and actually got let off – as I explained to the officer my mum had gone OS for a year and left me her BMW to drive – now how was I supposed NOT to speed in one of those.

Sadly yes I too have bit my tongue and paid the fine – bastards I mean why make cars go fast if you can’t drive them on the highway at a decent speed.
