Friday Reminder for the Weekend Funny Challenge

BeFunky_laugh2.jpg

To make up for last weekend when I was basically a no show for my own event I’m opening the floor to all sorts of fun and humor this weekend. So open the funny vaults and send us anything from snark to silly I want to see it.

I even made a new button to go with the challenge. Sooo proud of myself, my first blog button made by ME.

I an effort to make sure I had the right frame of mind and composure this weekend I decided to do some meditation to rid myself of the mundane world and accumulated detritus that it had thrown my way in the last fortnight.

Sadly the meme from Smile Be-Happy shown below is an accurate image of how that turned out.

inner peace

  1. Hi Jenni! I am relatively new to your blog but I love the idea of the Weekend Funny Challenge. Personally, I always try to save my wackiest stuff for the weekends and I’ve been wanting to submit something but the past few weekends have been kind of crazy. I’ve been looking over your blogs to see what you are looking for and I see a lot of videos and images but what I am thinking of submitting would probably be more of a satirical blog or poem. Would that be acceptable? Also, are you planning on doing the challenge this weekend? Let me know, thanks.

  4. With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of
it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement.

Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.

    • I’m not sure other than putting a text box saying all content in the property of ……. there is much that can be done on-line. I get re-blogged often which is fine as it provides a link to my site but I’m not sure as to how to prevent actual cut/paste copying of anything I work on.As far as using other peoples material I always try to include a link to the site where I found the image or quote as well as links to the paper/journal where I found information to use in an article. I’m sorry I can’t be of much more help.

    • Just out of curiosity where is your site – I tried to follow the read more link back to and it came up with a URL that is no longer in use. The only reason I ask is that you seemed concerned about misuse of your content and I wanted to have a look at your site to see if I could make any suggestions other than the previous comment.
